Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who is entitled for this revised data quota and speed (upgrade)?

The revised Infinity plans are for all Infinity subscribers; existing, new and port-in (or Switch to DST).

2. Are there any charges for the upgrade?

No. The upgrade is free, no additional costs.

3. Am I still paying the same monthly subscription fee?

Yes, the price stays as it is except for Infinity +78 and Infinity 248 subscribers.

If you are subscribed to Infinity+78, your plan will be changed to Infinity 58 and your monthly fee will be reduced from $78 to $58. Supersize data quota (600GB) and speed (50 Mbps) for a much cheaper price.

If you are subscribed to Infinity 248, your plan will be changed to Infinity 148 and your monthly fee will be reduced from $248 to $148. Same data quota (2000GB) and speed (100 Mbps) for a much cheaper price.

4. How do I get this upgrade?

You don’t have to visit our branch, you don’t have to do a thing; your Infinity will be upgraded automatically. Enjoy!

5. When does the upgrade take place?

For Infinity 38 and Infinity+ 78 subscribers, your Infinity will be upgraded immediately on 1st April 2021.

For Infinity 58, Infinity 98 and Infinity 148, it will take effect between 1st April to 15th April 2021. We humbly ask for your patience and understanding as we increase your Infinity’s speed and/or quota to give you the best experience.

6. Why am I getting this upgrade for my Infinity?

7. Will I be entitled for the upgrade if my Infinity installation is ‘Currently in Progress’?

Yes, of course you are! Your Infinity too will be upgraded automatically upon activation.

8. Is this a permanent upgrade to my Infinity plan?

Yes. Existing Infinity subscribers will permanently enjoy the speed and data quota increase and again, new customers are always welcome.

9. How do I know if I’ve been upgraded?

You will be notified via SMS confirming your upgrade and you can log in to MyDST to view your updated information.

Please take note that your data upgrade may appear as an add-on in your account e.g for Infinity 58, it will appear 500 GB + 100 GB add-on, instead of 600 GB.

10. How will the upgrade show on my MyDST account?

For now, the data upgrade may appear as an add-on e.g data for Infinity 58 will be shown as 500 GB + 100 GB add-on.

Eventually, it will be reflected as a whole e.g data for Infinity 58 will be shown as 600 GB.

11. I’ve checked but it does not look like my speed or data has been upgraded. What do I do?

If your speed or data has not been upgraded after 15th April, let us know by filling in the form here, we are more than happy to help.

12. What if I want a higher data quota but I don’t need higher speed?

If you would like to opt for more data quota without the speed increase, contact us via DSTCare 151 or simply reach us here.

13. Will I be experiencing any issues during the upgrading process?

Your data usage details on MyDST via the app may take longer time to load than usual. Other than this, your Infinity experience should be seamless.
