Travel eSIM is a prepaid international data roaming service that lets you stay connected while travelling—without the need for a physical SIM card. It’s easy to activate and manage directly through the MyDST app.
DST now offers our very own Travel eSIM, giving customers a convenient and affordable way to enjoy mobile data when travelling overseas.
2. Is the Travel eSIM available for everyone?
Travel eSIM is available for Easi (Mass Market & Enterprise) and Mobi customers with eSIM-compatible devices and a MyDST account.
3. Can the Travel eSIM be used all around the world?
The Travel eSIM can be used in many countries, depending on the type of package you select. We offer two package options to suit different travel needs:
- Regional Packs — These packs provide data coverage across multiple countries within one region. They are ideal for travellers visiting several destinations in a single trip.
- Data Packs — These packs offer data coverage for a single destination. They are suitable for travellers visiting one country and looking for the best value for that location.

The cost of the Travel eSIM varies depending on the package you choose. Refer below for the data packages:

7. How do I know which Travel eSIM Pack I need if I’m traveling to a specific country?
Before purchasing, check the list of countries included under each regional pack (Global, Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Africa). This will help you confirm that the country you’re traveling to is covered by the Travel eSIM pack you choose or if the option is available you can choose to get our Data Pack.

You can easily purchase a Travel eSIM Pack through the MyDST app.
9. How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?
It is easy to check! All you need to do is dial *#06# on your phone or check through your phone settings; Settings > About > Status Info.
If your phone supports eSIM, your phone will display your eSIM unique identification number (EID).
10. Where can I check my data balance?
You can check your data balance through the MyDST app.
Note: The data balance displayed is updated periodically and may be delayed by up to two (2) hours. Actual real-time usage may differ.
11. What should I do if I need more data while using Travel eSIM?
You can purchase another add-on for your plan through the MyDST app.
12. Do I need to enable 'Data Roaming' on my phone to use Travel eSIM?
Yes, you need to enable ‘Data Roaming’ for your Travel eSIM to use data while abroad. Be sure to disable roaming for your primary SIM to avoid unexpected charges.
13. Can I purchase multiple Travel eSIM packs?
Yes, you can purchase multiple Travel eSIM packs. Each pack comes with a unique eSIM profile, so you can install and use different packs (e.g. by region or country) on your device as needed.
Data Add-On
1. Can I top up my Travel eSIM data?
Yes, you can top up your Travel eSIM with additional data, and it will add both your data and validity period to your existing plan.
2. Where can I top up my Travel eSIM?
You can top up directly through the MyDST app by going to:
MyDST app > Travel eSIM > My Orders > Select Active Plan > Add-on
3. Is there a limit to how many times I can top up?
Yes, you can only top up to 12 times, depending on your plan type.
4. Will unused data from the top-up be carried over if my plan expires?
No, once your top-up plan expires, any unused data will be forfeited. Ensure you use the data within the validity period.
5. Will the top up change my original pack?
No, the top up will be combined with your existing pack. It does not reset or replace your original pack.
