This promotion will run for 3 months starting from 8 May 2020 until 7 August 2020.

Port-In:

  • Enjoy a total of 10GB reward with 2.5GB every weekend
  • Each reward is valid for 2 days
  • Example of a port in and activation on 8th May, the reward will be:
  • 1st reward:  Saturday, 16th May – 2.5GB
  • 2nd reward:  Saturday, 23rd May – 2.5GB

1. Are there any Supersized promotions if I switch to DST from my current service provider?

Good News! If you Switch to DST and subscribe to our Easi service between 8th May 2020 to 7th August 2020, you will get to enjoy a total of 10GB once your Easi is successfully activated.

2. What is the Supersized Switch to DST’s Easi promotion?

If you Switch to DST and subscribe to our Easi service, you will get to enjoy a total of 10GB once your Easi is successfully activated. You will get to enjoy 2.5GB for FOUR (4) weekends straight! Valid on Saturdays and Sundays.

3. When will I get my reward after I Switch to DST?

Once you Switch to DST and have successfully activated your Easi service, you will receive your 1st 2.5GB reward on the same weekend. However, for those Easi numbers activated on Friday, Saturday and Sunday you will only be rewarded the next following weekend.

Here is an example of when you’ll receive your 1st 2.5GB reward, depending on your Easi activation date:

4. When will this Supersized promotion end?

Our Supersized Switch to DST’s Easi service promotion is valid for 3-months only, starting from 8th May
2020 until 7th August 2020.

5. How much does it cost to Switch to DST and to subscribe to the Easi service?

There are no charges when you switch your number from one service provider to another. However, you will need to purchase and recharge $20.00 to activate your Easi SIM card.

6. What document(s) do I need to have to Switch to DST?

You will need to provide your valid Identification Card (IC) to Switch to DST.

7. Are there any specific requirements to Switch to DST?

The requirements to Switch to DST are as follows:

-If you’re currently in a Postpaid Plan and planning to subscribe to our Easi service, make sure you do not have any overdue outstanding bill (outstanding more than 30 days) with your current service provider. You can subscribe to our Easi service If your outstanding bill still not due (outstanding less than 30 days).

-If you’re currently in a Prepaid plan, you will lose your existing credit balance when you subscribe to our Easi service.

8. How do I make a request to Switch to DST from my current service provider?

You can submit your Switch to DST and subscribe to our Easi service request via our website at www.dst.com.bn/switch-to-dst/ or by visiting any of our branches.

9. Will I get a new SIM card when I Switch to DST?

Yes, you will receive a new SIM card when you have successfully Switched to DST.

10. How will I know that my existing mobile number has been successfully Switched to DST?

You will receive an SMS notification once your number has been successfully Switched to DST.

11. What happens to my value-added services from my previous service provider once I have successfully Switched to DST?

All your value-added services from your previous service will be void. However, you can subscribe to any of the value-added services offered by DST.

12. Can I still use my current service provider’s service during the wait/transition time?

Yes, you will still be able to use the service provided by your current service provider. However, you will be liable to pay for the service you have used during this period to your current service provider.

13. Do I need to contact my current service provider to terminate my existing mobile service subscription before Switching to DST?

No, you don’t have to contact your current service provider. Once you’ve submitted your ‘Switch to DST’ form, DST will arrange to disconnect your subscription with your current service provider for you.

14. What if my SIM card does not work after I Switch to DST?

You will need to contact our DSTCare151 for further assistance.

15. Will there be any circumstances where DST will decline my Switch to DST request?

Yes, there are a few possible reasons as to why your request can be rejected. The reasons being:
1. Your Identity Card (IC) was not properly uploaded.
2. The details you have submitted does not match with your details from your current service provider.

16. What happens to the credit balance in my prepaid number?

Any remaining credit balance will be forfeited when you have successfully Switched to DST.

17. Can I still request to switch to DST if the number is not under my name?

No, the account holder must be the pone to make the request to switch to DST.
