1. Are there any Supersized promotions if I Switch to DST from my current service provider?

Good News! If you Switch to DST and subscribe to our Mobi service between 15thMay 2020 to
14thAugust 2020, you will get to enjoy a $10 rebate on your monthly subscription once your Mobi is
successfully activated.

2. What is the Supersized Switch to DST’s Mobi promotion?

If you Switch to DST and subscribe to our Mobi service, you will get to enjoy a $10 rebate on your
monthly subscription once your Mobi is successfully activated.

The total amount of rebate you will get will depend on your Mobi monthly subscription.

3. When will this Supersized promotion ends?

Our Supersized Switch to DST’s Mobi service promotion is valid for 3-months only, starting from 15th May 2020 until 14th August 2020.

4. When will I get my reward after I Switch to DST?

Once you Switch to DST and have successfully activated your Mobi service, you will receive your 1st$10 rebate on the same month.

Here is an example of when you’ll receive your 1st$10 rebate, if you are subscribed to MOBI 30:

5. How will I receive the $10 rebate?

The $10 monthly rebate will be credited into your bill.

6. How much does it cost to Switch to DST and to subscribe to the Mobi service?

There are no charges when you switch your number from one service provider to another. However, you
will need to pay for the registration fees for your Mobi subscription. Please refer below for the
registration fees for Mobi:

7. What document(s) do I need to have to Switch to DST?

You will need to provide your valid Identification Card (IC) to Switch to DST.

8. Are there any specific requirements to Switch to DST?

If you are currently in a Postpaid plan from other service provider and planning to subscribe to our Mobi service, make sure you do not have any overdue outstanding bill (outstanding more than 30 days) with your current service provider. You can still subscribe to our Mobi service if your outstanding bill is still not due (meaning outstanding less than 30 days).

If you are currently in a Prepaid Plan from the other service provider, you will lose your existing credit balance when you subscribe to our Mobi service.

9. Can I still request to Switch to DST if the number is not under my name?

No, the account holder must be the one to make the request to Switch to DST.

10. How do I make a request to Switch to DST from my current service provider?

You can submit your Switch to DST and subscribe to our Mobi service request via our website at www.dst.com.bn/switch-to-dst/ or by visiting any of our branches.

11. Will I get a new SIM card when I Switch to DST?

Yes, you will receive a new SIM card once you have successfully Switched to DST.

12. What happens to my value-added services from my previous service provider once I have successfully Switched to DST?

All your value-added services from your previous service will be void. However, you can subscribe to any of the value-added services offered by DST.

13. Can I still use my current service provider’s service during the wait/transition time?

Yes, you will still be able to use the service provided by your current service provider. However, you will be liable to pay for the service you have used during this period to your current service provider.

14. Do I need to contact my current service provider to terminate my existing mobile service subscription before Switching to DST?

No, you don’t have to contact your current service provider. Once you’ve submitted your ‘Switch to DST’ form, DST will arrange to disconnect your subscription with your current service provider for you.

15. What if my SIM card does not work after I Switch to DST?

You will need to contact our DSTCare151 for further assistance.

16. Will there be any circumstances where DST will decline my Switch to DST request?

Yes, there are a few possible reasons as to why your request can be rejected. The reasons being:
1. Your Identity Card (IC) was not properly uploaded.
2. The details you have submitted does not match with your details from your current service provider.

Mobi: Switch to DST– Online Subscription

1. I am currently using another service provider’s number. Can I Switch to DST and subscribed to Mobi online?

Yes, you can switch to DST and subscribe to our Mobi via www.dst.com.bn/switch-to-dst/ and with this you will get to keep your number.

2. How do I pay if I want to subscribe via online?

You can pay your subscription using Credit or Debit card.

3. Once I have successfully Switch to DST and subscribed to Mobi, can I collect my new SIM card at the nearest DST branch (Pick-up)?

Only delivery options are available when you purchase online.

4. What happens if I choose the Pick-Up option when I purchase my Mobi online?

You will receive a call from our DSTCare 151 to inform you that we do not provide any collection at our branches. You will need to choose between our delivery option or pick-up your Mobi SIM card at our DST Headquarters.

5. Are they any charges for delivery service?

No, the delivery service is free of charge.

6. Will my SIM card be delivered on the same day of my purchase?

The delivery period is 1-4 working days.

7. Will I be notified first before my SIM card gets delivered?

Yes, the courier will send an SMS to update you of your delivery status.
